Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, Celina Castillo will join the CCS family as the Softball Head Coach. Celina has been involved in softball for over 30 years. She was a 4-year varsity letterman in high school, and then went on to play Softball and Volleyball at Pima Community College where she was named Second Team All- Region for softball. She then continued her softball career at Angelo State University (ASU). After a career ending injury, she continued as a student coach for Angelo State for two years. While a Student Coach, ASU were the 2004 DII National Champions. She graduated from Angelo State with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In 2014-2017, she was an assistant coach at University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) while receiving her Masters in Sports Management.
Celina is excited to be part of CCS to help build strong, confident, respectable student athletes with her knowledge and experience of the game. Celina is married to Clayton with 3 children - Step daughter Caitlyn (20) attends Sam Houston University, son Esteban (18) will be attending West Point to play Football, and daughter Ariana (8) is in 3rd grade.
