A Bold New Step for 6th Grade at CCS!

Cornerstone Christian Schools (CCS) is excited to announce a transformative educational initiative aimed to better prepare students for their academic futures: the launch of the 6th Grade Academy. We are proud to be only the second school in Texas to implement this innovative program, reinforcing our commitment to educational excellence and leadership in student development. The academy will move 6th grade out of the traditional middle school setting and into its own program within the elementary school building, providing a nurturing, skill-building environment designed to bridge the gap between elementary and junior high.

Why This Change?

The shift to the 6th Grade Academy stems from a deep understanding of the unique challenges 6th graders face. At this age, students begin to seek more independence but still benefit from a supportive structure. This program offers the best of both worlds by keeping them in a familiar environment while preparing them for the greater challenges of junior high.
