Assistant Athletic Director & Varsity Head Softball Coach
Lorie Coleman is the Varsity Head Softball Coach after nine years as head softball coach at Biola University in La Mirada, Ca. Softball, ministry, and leadership development are some of Coleman's passions.
She began coaching at Biola University in 2009 after spending 10 years in the travel ball network with the Corona Angels. During her tenure, she led the Eagles to a 232-207-3 overall record and two NAIA National Tournament appearances. Coleman also has international coaching and playing competitively.
When not working, Coleman loves teaching Bible Studies and reading. In 2017, she began another ministry, Church on the Dirt, with current Team USA members. She and her husband, Michael, have been married since 1988 and have three children; Vanessa, Jordan and Izabella.

Facchini served as lead assistant to Head Coach Lorie Coleman at Boila University. She also was the recruiting coordinator, camp director, and administrative lead to the Division II softball program.
During her time there, Facchini gained experience coaching on the international level. She has traveled overseas coaching both high school and collegiate All-American teams. During her free time, Facchini is a group leader in a women’s bible study and is also active in the ministry, Church on the Dirt.
Prior to her time as an assistant coach, Facchini spent four years as a catcher in the Biola Eagles Program where she started 135 games at catcher. She was born to Mark and Luanne Facchini in 1988 who reside in Hanford, Ca and has three siblings; Brennen, Hudson, and Hannah.

Vanessa Barrientos came to Cornerstone Christian School from Victor Valley Christian School in Victorville, California where she was a fifth-grade teacher and Head Varsity Softball Coach.
She attended Biola University in La Mirada, California where she earned a Liberal Arts Degree, Minor in Biblical & Theological Studies, and a Major Concentration in Early Childhood Development. During her time at Biola, she played for the Biola softball team from 2010-2014.
Vanessa married Javier Barrientos in July 2017, and they are excited for God’s plan for their lives in Texas. Javier also joined the Cornerstone family as the Youth Pastor at Cornerstone Central. Mrs. Barrientos believes in creating a positive and Christ-like environment for kids in the community, classroom or on the softball field.
