CCS Welcomes the Director of Elementary Academics, Mrs. Rebecca Wallace-Jones
Cornerstone Christian Schools is happy to announce the appointment of Mrs. Rebecca Wallace-Jones to the position of Director of Elementary Academics.
In this role, Mrs. Wallace-Jones serves as an elementary administrator with a particular focus on elementary academics, curriculum, and instruction. We are thrilled to have Mrs. Wallace-Jones serve our school in this capacity. She is a gifted teacher with a breadth of experience across grade levels, academic disciplines, and student learning styles. She has distinguished herself as a servant leader whose heart is for the students. She is profoundly creative in instructional style with a unique gift for building success with students. We are excited to have her inspiration and influence on the continued academic growth of our elementary school.
Mrs. Wallace-Jones is a graduate of Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Special Education. Mrs. Wallace-Jones has served in the educational community for 16 years as a special education teacher working with Pre-K through 3rd grades. She has also served as a classroom teacher for grades 2, 3, and 4. She was elected Teacher of the Year in 2007. Mrs. Wallace-Jones believes strongly in differentiated instruction, providing each student with exactly what is needed to excel. She sees CCS as a place where every child can feel secure to explore, question, create, and take their learning to a higher level.
Mrs. Wallace-Jones is married to James, her best friend from middle school who works for the Air Force in Video Production. They have three beautiful daughters, Madison (18), Carson Poppy (9) and Harper (4).

Mrs. Jones embodies servant leadership with a heart for students to grow, explore, create and take their learning to a higher level. She is a graduate of Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia with a BS in Psychology, and a MS in Special Education. She has been an educator in both the public and private sector and has twenty-five years of educational experience. She believes in differentiated instruction, providing each student with exactly what is needed to excel.
