2019 Music Educator Award Finalist

We are excited to announce that our own Director of Fine Arts, Dr. David Dehner, was selected as a semifinalist, from more than 2,800 initial nominations, for the 2019 Music Educator Award by the Recording Academy and the Grammy Museum. This will be the third nomination for Dr. Dehner.

This prestigious award is for teachers that are recognized for making a lasting impact on students and music education. Each year, one recipient is selected from 10 finalists and recognized for their impact on students' lives. The winner will be announced during Grammy Week 2019.

We are extremely blessed and grateful for the impact that Dr. Dehner has on our Fine Arts department, students, and faculty. We wish him the best of luck and look forward to his continued success at Cornerstone Christian Schools.
