Poetry Out Loud Competition

Classes in grades 9 -12 are participating in a poetry competition to see who will be the top 5 representatives from their grade level at the CCS Poetry Out Loud Competition. Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program that encourages the study of great poetry by offering a dynamic recitation competition to high schools across the country. This program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about literary history and contemporary life. The winner of this event will represent CCS at a state competition.
