CCS Uniform and Dress Code Updates

CCS Uniform and Dress Code Updates

Friday, August 3, 2018

We are so excited that the 2018-2019 school year begins next week. We have been preparing classrooms and can’t wait for the halls to be buzzing with your students.

Many of you have reached out with questions and concerns about our new uniforms and orders you have placed or not been able to place. With our unprecedented growth this year and Tommy’s challenge filling orders, this has caused an extensive backlog in their production. We exceeded their initial estimate of uniform orders by eighty percent. We want you to know that we hear your concerns and are working closely with Tommy Hilfiger to help resolve this situation.

To help start the year right, we have decided to relax the school dress code for the entire Fall Semester. We have heard from Tommy Hilfiger that some uniform pieces are on a considerable delay, even as late as mid-December. We don’t want to add any additional stress. We know many of you are frustrated, as we are as well, and we want to offer some relief. Here is the following solution we are offering for the Fall Semester:

Thursday, August 9 and Friday, August 10: To ease into the school year, all students will wear jeans, a CCS Spirit Shirt (spirit wear on sale at the Warriors On Campus event Aug 8) or a school polo if you couldn’t get spirit wear, and tennis shoes.

Beginning Monday, August 13– December 21:

Students may wear any of the following:

Beginning Tuesday, January 8:

All students must be in full CCS uniform. If we are still having issues fulfilling orders, we will send out further communication prior to that time.

We also have limited Parker uniforms that we would like to share with you while we are waiting on orders to arrive. These are first come, first serve and will be available at Warriors on Campus on Wednesday, August 8.

Please continue to submit your orders, throughout the semester, on the Tommy Hilfiger site for uniforms in preparation for full uniform implementation beginning January 8. We are consistently receiving an updated list of families that have backordered items and monitoring it closely with Tommy Hilfiger.

If you have any more questions regarding the dress code or uniforms, please feel free to contact Yvonne Copeland at 210-979-6161 or call our designated help line with Tommy Hilfiger at 1-877-734-5559.

We know this isn’t ideal, but we want to start the school year with excellence. Your concerns have been heard and we thank you for your patience in this matter. We believe this will be our best year yet and hope these alternative options will offer some relief.
