Physicals are required for all athletes in grades six through twelve. If athletes do not have a current physical in the last year, they are unable to participate in their sport.

A Cornerstone Christian Schools application must be completed. APPLY NOW to get started. The application is considered complete when all required forms, as well as the non-refundable deposit application fee are submitted to the Admissions Office.

During the admissions process, parents/guardians will meet with the Accounting office to complete a financial agreement and review tuition options.

  • At least one parent, legal guardian or host family with whom the student is living must be a professing, practicing Christian or a Jewish person practicing the Jewish faith.
  • Applicants may be required to present recommendations from their pastor, Rabbi, Sunday school teacher or another recognized spiritual authority, per request from CCS administration.
  • Statement on Marriage, Gender and Sexuality: We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. This belief also accounts for (1) dressing in conformance with one’s biological sex; (2) using the restrooms, locker rooms, and changing facilities conforming to one’s biological sex. “Biological sex” means the condition of being male or female, which is determined by a person’s chromosomes, and is identified at birth by a person’s anatomy.” We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in an exclusive union, as delineated by Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4). We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of the bounds of marriage between one man and one woman. We believe that any form of sexual immorality and sexual conduct outside the marital union of one man and one woman (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God (Matthew 15:18-20; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Acts 3:19-21; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
  • Statement of Support of Israel and the Jewish People: At CCS, we teach the Bible, including both Old and New Testament, and underscore the importance of Christian support for Israel and its people. We believe that the Bible commands believers to bless and support the state of Israel and its people. (Genesis 12:3). St. Paul recorded in Romans 15:27 "For if the Gentiles have shared in their (the Jews) spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things." Christians owe a debt of eternal gratitude to the Jewish people for their contributions that gave birth to the Christian faith. Jesus Christ, a prominent Rabbi from Nazareth said, "Salvation is of the Jews!" (St. John 4:22) consider what the Jewish people have given to Christianity: a) The Sacred Scripture b) The Prophets c) The Patriarchs d) Mary, Joseph, and Jesus Christ of Nazareth e) The Twelve Disciples f) The Apostles. It is not possible to say, "I am a Christian" and not love the Jewish people. The Bible teaches that love is not what you say, but what you do. (1 John 3:18) Accordingly, we believe we are called to stand in unity with our Jewish brothers and sisters, in a spirit of mutual respect and understanding, thanking them for their contribution to our Christian faith, rather than proselytizing the Jewish people to believe the same.
  • The Sanctity of Human life: We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life (Psalm 139). We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor doctrines of Cornerstone Christian Schools.
  • Final Authority for Matters of Belief and Conduct: This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Cornerstone Christian Schools’ faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, the Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church is the school’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.

Please Note: students, families and/or employees who fail to abide by the above policies, and those contained in their respective handbooks, will be subject to denied enrollment/re-enrollment, expulsion or termination, as the case may warrant.

  • Applicants to high school may not have more than two failed credits in core courses; those credits must be retaken and passed. Elementary and middle school students may not have more than two failed classes.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of a “C” (2.0 average on a 4.0 scale) in core courses.
  • Applicants must submit recommendations from a previous principal, teacher or other recognized educator who can attest to the student’s academic ability and/or performance at the request of CCS administration.

Academic Assessments

K4 and K5 students are assessed prior to interviewing with the Admissions department. Acceptance is based upon school readiness, as determined by the assessment results, and the interview with the Principal.

Students applying for 1st -5th grade levels are assessed prior to the interview in the Admissions department. Acceptance is based upon grade-level standards met, as determined by the assessment results, favorable recommendations, report card(s) (last two years), student record release form, statement of faith, and an interview with the Principal. Students whose assessment results are more than one grade level below the student’s current grade may be placed at the lower grade level at the discretion of Administration.

Secondary students applying for 6th -12th grade levels must submit standardized test scores that indicate a performance level equivalent to, but no more than one grade level below the student’s current grade. Upon review of submitted standardized test scores, additional testing may be required. Acceptance is based upon grade-level standards met, as determined by the assessment results, favorable recommendations, report card(s) (last two years), student record release form, transcript review, statement of faith, and an interview with the Principal.

Interview

Once all steps of the admissions process are complete, the office of the Principal will schedule an interview with the student and family. After the interview, the parent/guardian will receive an email notification of the admissions decision based upon consideration of all information provided during the admissions process.
