Noah Valle

Junior Noah Valle is a student athlete and puts his best foot forward in his academics. His well-mindedness and perseverance have brought him to where he is today. Valle has been at CCS since 9th grade. Since his arrival, he has been brought closer to God and the positive people surrounding him. He strives to live out values that matter to him: integrity, compassion and treating others with respect.

Savannah Juiel is a junior with a passion for music, movies and live theater. She frequently participates in community theater outside of school and often is a part of crew for school shows. In her free time, she loves listening to music and watching movies. She loves reviewing these movies on Letterboxd!

Vivien Pina is someone who tries to move through life with intention, gratitude and a mindset centered on growth. Her faith in God shapes the way she sees the world--quietly guiding her toward kindness, patience and a deeper sense of purpose. She strives to live out values that matter to her: integrity, compassion and treating people with respect. She believes that a good mindset is something you build through reflection, prayer and choosing to show up with a grateful heart. Those practices help her stay grounded, even when life feels busy or uncertain. Outside of her commitments, Vivien enjoys spending time reflecting, staying connected to her faith, and surrounding herself with people and routines that help her grow into the person she hopes to be.
Emmalee Barnes

Emmalee Barnes is a Junior at CCS. She has loved writing from a young age and has enjoyed the opportunity to learn journalistic style writing in her journalism class. She enjoys writing about compelling people, school events and interesting topics. Her hope for writing for the paper is to bring a voice to the people who feel like they have none and to represent those who feel ignored.
Audrey Ramos

Audrey Ramos is a junior at CCS and has been attending Cornerstone since K4. She grew up around journalism and has loved learning journalistic writing in class. Audrey enjoys and looks forward to writing more articles on current events, interesting people and her community. In addition to writing, Audrey loves exploring multiple styles of piano, decorating her room and being out with friends. She is passionate about delving into the underground stories of people, places and events.
Angel Hernandez

Angel Hernandez, a senior at CCS, recently signed to the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor to continue his football career. He is so passionate about football, working out and training that he started his own training business to spread his knowledge to youth looking to better themselves in football. He also loves to play golf in his free time, except when he misses a free putt. He also writes in his free time about literally anything and everything. He is currently writing a manga that is a part of DragonBall Z (fan made). Angel loves writing and says it’s a way to express how we feel and what we are thinking.
Ethan Mendoza

Ethan Mendoza is an 11th grader at CCS and is on the soccer team. He loves sports and wants to someday be a sports journalist. His strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines make him a valuable newspaper staff member. He hopes to improve his communication with others and knows being on the newspaper staff will help him reach this goal.

Juan Mendoza-Arenas is a junior at CCS who enjoys soccer, skateboarding, music and writing. He pays attention to detail when writing and hopes to keep students up to date on the latest happenings at CCS. Juan’s caring side has motivated him to become a child psychologist.

Tyra likes to listen to music, walk with her dogs, hang out with friends and sleep. Gianna Ursone

Gianna Ursone is an animal enthusiast who loves to be around nature. She is known for her odd interests in plants, bugs, reptiles and amphibians and often does her own research on certain animals/plants that she finds interesting. Despite her very grumpy look, Gianna is quite calm and is generally willing to get along with anyone, as long as you respect her boundaries and tolerate her odd interests. She is serious, calculated and stoic, but she’s also able to be energetic, outgoing and enthusiastic to those she tolerates and chats with every now and then. Gianna enjoys running, writing, drawing, and exploring forests and possibly abandoned places. Overall, Gianna is just a chill yet rambunctious student.

As a senior at Cornerstone Christian Schools, Mateo Munoz is known for his steady dedication, thoughtful personality and genuine involvement in the CCS community. Mateo is very passionate when it comes to sports. Whether he’s breaking down plays with friends or sharing his thoughtful take on a game, he brings a blend of enthusiasm and insight into every conversation. He loves how sports can create connections and even how a single moment or debate can bring people together. As he approaches graduation, Mateo leaves behind an effect of positivity, and a genuine appreciation for his friends and the community that has led him to where he is today.
