Savannah Juiel
Editor in-Chief
Savannah Juiel is a senior with a passion for music, movies and live theater. She frequently participates in community theater outside of school and often is a part of crew for school shows. In her free time, she loves listening to music and watching movies. She loves reviewing these movies on Letterboxd!
Emmalee Barnes
News Editor
Emmalee Barnes is a senior at CCS. She has loved writing from a young age and has enjoyed the opportunity to learn journalistic style writing in her journalism class. She enjoys writing about compelling people, school events and interesting topics. Her hope for writing for the paper is to bring a voice to the people who feel like they have none and to represent those who feel ignored.
Audrey Ramos
Features Editor
Audrey Ramos is a senior at CCS and has been attending Cornerstone since K4. She grew up around journalism and has loved learning journalistic writing in class. Audrey looks forward to writing more articles on current events, interesting people and her community. In addition to writing, Audrey loves playing multiple styles of piano, decorating her room and being out with friends. She is passionate about delving into the underground stories of people, places and events.
Ethan Mendoza

Ethan Mendoza is a senior at CCS who plays on the soccer team and loves to laugh and joke. He loves sports and wants to someday be a sports journalist. His strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines make him a valuable newspaper staff member. He hopes to improve his communication with others and knows being on the newspaper staff will help him reach this goal.

Juan Mendoza-Arenas is a senior at CCS who enjoys soccer, skateboarding, music and writing. He pays attention to detail when writing and hopes to keep students up to date on the latest happenings at CCS. Juan’s caring side has motivated him to become a child psychologist.
Ahavah Evans

Legacy student Ahavah Evans is a senior at CCS known for humorous wild spirit and sports photography. With the help of her grandfather and former photography teacher, she discovered her natural raw talent. Ahavah believes this passion is her God-given gift and is confident in becoming a professional sports photographer. In 2025, her award-winning competition photos were featured at the Witte Museum year-round, and she became the first student to win two photo contests. Ahavah will attend Liberty University, majoring in Digital Media and Journalism — Sports Entertainment with a minor in Photography. Her ultimate career goal is to join the Spurs Sports and Entertainment team.
Gianna Ursone

Gianna Ursone is a senior who is an animal enthusiast and loves to be around nature. She is known for her odd interest in plants, bugs, reptiles and amphibians; she often does her own research on certain animals/plants that she finds fascinating. Despite her very grumpy look, Gianna is quite calm and is generally willing to get along with anyone, if you respect her boundaries and tolerate her peculiar interests. She is serious, calculated and stoic, but she’s also able to be energetic, outgoing and enthusiastic to those she tolerates and chats with every now and then. Gianna enjoys running, writing, drawing, exploring forests, and possibly abandoned places.

Tyra likes to listen to music, walk with her dogs, hang out with friends and sleep. She cares deeply about important topics and getting points across to prove and relate to others to show that they are not alone. She is always caring for others and is always open to trying new things.

Journalism class has given her the opportunity to learn more about writing and reporting. She hopes to become a collegiate cheerleader and a lawyer.

Ili Martinez, a sophomore, has been attending CCS for seven years. She is in the CCS marching band and has been playing and competing on bass clarinet for four years. Alejandro Glick is a freshman at CCS, and this is his fourth year at Cornerstone. He really likes JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Naruto. His favorite musical artist is David Bowie, and his favorite song is “Life On Mars.” Aside from all this, he finds drawing and reading relaxing and hopes to collect all of JJBA one day. In case you didn’t know his favorite JoJo character is Funny Stewart Valentine, “YES YES YES!”

Axel Glick is a freshman at Cornerstone Christian Schools. He is involved with the track team and likes to jog in parks. He has a dog and pet tortoise who he loves very much. He likes watching Naruto Shippuden; his favorite character is Might Guy. His favorite food is spicy lamb curry and seaweed. His favorite hobbies are sleeping and doing homework. He would like to become a neurosurgeon or ophthalmic surgeon no matter what it takes.

Megan Rohlmeier is a junior at CCS who enjoys reading, drawing, and playing video games in her free time. She plans to become a corporate lawyer and is the founder of the Debate Club. She is in competition theater and has been in commercials as well as on runways. She hopes to share the true opinions of students within The Warrior Word as well as spread awareness.
