National Prep Wrestling Championships

Big congratulations to our cornerstone wrestling varsity national qualifiers as they traveled to Lehigh University in Pennsylvania over the weekend, to compete at the prestigious National Prep Wrestling Championships.
 
Our Cornerstone qualifiers include:
Senior, Xavier Stoops
Senior, Xavier Trigo
Junior, Shaun Hernandez
Sophomore, Dylan Duran-Villarreal
Sophomore, JohnKarl Centeno
 
The boys wrestled tough and represented Cornerstone with grit and class. Earning a 43rd place team finish against 107 preparatory & private school teams from across the nation!
 
Individual results include:
 
Senior, Xavier Stoops finished top 16 at the 165-pound weight class!
 
Junior, Shaun Hernandez finished top 32 at the 190-pound weight class.
 
Senior, Xavier Trigo finished top 32 at the 138 pound weight class.
 
Outstanding job at one of the most difficult high school tournaments in the nation. All glory to God!
